Kennly Marda is the second Marda to hold public office. His father, Haikeem Marda held the position of Chief of Hydration; an important position dedicated to making sure that the people of Phanes Bay have enough clean water to drink as well as enough water to wash their clothes with. Kennly graciously accepted the role himself when he completed his apprenticeship under Construction Chairwoman Ada Langly after 12 years in primary and trade school.
Kennly stands a solid 5’11”, average as far as Phanes humans go. His skin tone is a dark brown and wrinkled from eight years of political compromises and hardball negotiations. He is known for his critical insight into Human/Barren affairs and still maintains good relations with the Barren Legion through his brother Jacen Marda. His skepticism regarding the church of Inanna often puts him at odds with other more pious members of the Phanes council, with whom he argues with occasionally over the proper distribution of water and other resources.
He typically wears a plain brown cloth shirt, and when he isn’t in his office he can be found on the east side of the Fox river spending time with his Wife Merideth and their four daughters Moira, Trista and Jen. His daughters have recently begun first second and third years of primary schooling, respectively.
After 8 years of experience he is a well respected member of the Human community and tacitly accepted by the Barren community due his lobbying for additional military resources and budget.
